Have you noticed that all through Celeb world Blondes have been getting darker? That white platinum blonde has been non-existent for a good year or so... with the exception of the epic fail that was Kim Kardashian's Blonde ambition. In the last few years the Fashion and Beauty industry has been pushing the 'Natural is beautiful' tag. Automatically a lot of the fashion campaigns and adverts in general has been selling less bold looks and moved to a far more natural look overall - models slowly started looking a bit more real and the very alien 'fashiony' model took a step back. Think Cara Delevingne arguably the most present model this past year - possibly because she is someone you can relate to - slightly rebellious, does not conform much -  could easily be the (HOT) girl next door .....and her hair colour? Not quite brown, not quite blonde...it's BRONDE! The original poster girls for this are of course Gisele Bundchen and Jennifer Lopez... but ...

We get to the first of June and as a friend landing into Heathrow airport put it best: 'I just landed in November!' - Ironically by mid afternoon it had turned into July! - typical schizophrenic London weather... Thankfully there was an event to brighten our grey days - and that was Mark Wright's and Michelle Keegan's wedding pictures on HELLO... that's unless you were invited of course and got that live on the day.. (then again you would still have no pictures - as phones were not allowed... though unlike the MET Gala - there was no Madonna Rebel around!) But how gorgeous did she look? - ok he did too... but Michelle..... well we all expected her to look great on her wedding day there definitely was no doubt about that - but that dress by Galia Lahav and the overall look was just stunning! Here at The Hair Colour Clinic, we had another Wright to deal with, and that was changing Mark's cousin Leah's hair from Brunette to a Summer Blonde... ...

Being the most famous and possibly the most influential editor-in-chief in the world you must be used to  people doing exactly what you say! So it must have been serious shock horror for Anna Wintour when a bunch of A-listers decided not to listen to her at all! For this year's Met Gala, Host Wintour had put a total ban on any selfies and/or the use of social media.... she did however realise very quickly that these A-listers may not be as easy to control as her Vogue employees.... starting with Ms. Rebelheart herself:  Madonna.... Leading the pack to a cheeky selfie.... Not those cheeks! or these... Bey! The Theme to the Gala this year was China: Through the Looking Glass... Miley Cyrus in this Alexander Wand dress boasted about going Commando for the occasion. She also opted for a Pastel Blue Jelly look on her usually Platinum hair,...not sure quite feeling the look ...and there is nothing like studs and flesh to follow a China Theme.... (really bit...

OOh we have had a few celebs really going for it with their hair lately.... Starting off with the now Mrs. Cheryl Fernandez-Versini ..... so she has gone for the chop! I actually quite like shorter hair on her, makes her look a bit fresher...and the masses of locks were looking a bit tired now -  I'm all for less is more!- girls going overboard with hair extensions please do take note. - There is such a thing as too much hair - and it looks ridiculous! But back to Cheryl.... I find celebrity endorsements for D-I-Y colour boxes just hilarious.... it started with seeing Kate Moss  (many years ago) for some home highlighting kit - Can totally see her in her en-suite bathroom running the micro brush through her hair! shampooing and towel drying in her egyptian cotton best! Equally Cheryl tweeted the colour , but at least she did not pretend to do it herself! -  'coz you're worth it!' But then came the explanation that it was a 70's inspired look......

Now I really am not into Reality Tv in general, except for maybe the trap I fall into every year called the X Factor, and The Voice because I actually think it s somewhat more genuine.... though what the hell hapend to winners so far? (sad really). But whether you are into Reality Tv or not... Like half of the nation and pockets around the world, you probably got somewhat stuck or heard people in conversation about Celebrity Big Brother the last few weeks. I usually watch the opening night see who's in, maybe watch another few episodes and then loose interest... but NOT THIS YEAR!!! - been watching it religiously. Started with realising that Ms. Michelle Visage was gonna be in the house, was I gonna miss that? - Hell No! but as I saw the personalities going in Katie Hopkins (sooo gonna hate her!), Perez Hilton (can't believe they pulled that) Nadia (she's gonna be pretty sane), and on and on and on.... Like many of you there, next thing I knew I was loving Katie...
