Yummy Hair - Food inspired Hair ColourTrends for 2019

Image
Sometimes Hair is just good enough to eat! This Winter Season get ready to tickle your taste buds as the hottest hair colours are all inspired by food and beverage - and quite frankly our mouths are watering! And this time you won't even have to count your calories! Toasted Coconut Like a proper autumn trend even the coldest of colours still has a warm tone. This vivid blend of darker roots and uber blonde ends mimics the effect you get when you roast coconut shavings. If you already are a brunette and want some serious drama while going blonde this is great as the regrowth would not be such an issue! However one should build this colour slowly rather than try to achieve it in one session so as to preserve the integrity of the hair from all that bleach (unless you are already relatively blonde). Protecting the hair with Olaplex is essential and you will also need regular toning to keep those icy ends nice and white.  Cold Brew Coffee We think this is qu

The Hottest Colours for Autumn 2018

Hair Colour Trends this year got a little bit warmer, which quite frankly after all the obsession with Grey and Silver tones it was quite a welcome change. And with Autumn very much round the corner as always warm tones reign supreme. It is no secret that Summer is probably our favourite season - but at Hair Colour Studio when it comes to hair colour - our favourite season is most certainly Autumn! The season already gives you such a gorgeous palette of earthy tones that all you need is to look around for inspiration! But we are making it a bit easier with a round up of the seven really hot colours to look for and try! this coming season. #1.  Fruit Punch This look is super pretty, and even though the base of this colour is berry, peach and strawberry it is also fully customizable by adding more or less of the tones.  It is also a great way to introduce pastel tones without going for the full bleach out. What one must keep in mind though is once fade does happen,

Best Hair Masks for summer damaged hair.

We love the summer! Well or most of us do!.... But if your hair could speak it would probably disagree with your infatuation with the hottest months of the year.. and for good reason really, because more often than not we do not treat it as well as we should - especially when we should be doing more... In fact we do tend to do more - but that is more damage - most of us want to go lighter in the summer months - and more often than not that means bleaching the hair. When we sunbathe we are careful with our skin, we use protection, we use aftersun... and that is exactly what we should be doing with our hair too. Think of bleaching your like getting sun burnt in that summer sun. You need the aftersun - for your hair that will be a good nourishing treatment. Here are some of our favourites: True Keratin: post-treatment Masque This masque with super food blend zaps frizz and boosts shine with a crisp citrus scent that lingers. Use this light and silky treatment

The Hottest footballers of World Cup 2018

So where do we even start with this! It's not too difficult to like (lust) a footballer, their fitness is pretty much at peak...they tend to dress well and be well groomed...  and yes  they do not always quite get it right in the hair department... but really, do we care? (no need to answer that!) So here is a round up of the hottest at this year's World Cup final.... Starting with a portuguese man... ... alot of people would expect Cristiano Ronaldo, but during the very first Portugal match against Spain the portuguese no.7 was very much over-shadowed by this cute (and younger version) ... Andre Silva The Portuguese team left pretty early, to catch more of Andre you will need to start watching Italy's serieA tournament where he plays for AC Milan. Yann Sommer If you would have thought tennis player Rafael Nadal somehow ended up in the Swiss post you would be totally excused, the look-alike is Swiss goalie Yann Sommer.. And apart from bein

Is your hair summer-in-the-city ready?

Summer in the city! Some will say it's a nightmare, but if I had to choose between a dreary grey wash-out and bright hot sunny days and evenings, I know exactly what I would choose! Let's face it everyone seems to be much happier when the city is basking in the sun, but how are we faring with having summer-ready hair? When it is swelteringly hot a sweaty scalp and wet roots is never a good look! and patting constantly with a tissue is really not very flattering while flirting with a colleague prosecco in hand! Dry Shampoo is your real Knight in Shining armour. Keeping a mini dry shampoo in your bag is a proper summer essential. Lightly sprizzing at the root and combing through the hair will help you keep the root and scalp nice and dry, absorbing excess oil while also keeping some volume going. There are loads of of dry shampoos out there to choose from.... but here are 3 of our favourites.... Sebastian's Drynamic has been around for a while. Like most Seba
