Sleek Straight - Permanent Straightening goes Gaga...with a touch of Versace!

So, by now, surely -everyone  has seen the most vivid case of: 'let me channel my own personal self through a celebrity - onto the world!'

Yes, I am of course taking about THAT VERSACE CAMPAIN!

My name is Donatella - or am I Gaga?...we even have an Ode to Ms. Versace.... (yes there is a song on Gaga's latest offering Artpop  called 'Donatella') :

We have a clear case of mutual love going on between the house of Versace and that of Gaga, and as much as I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with Lady Gaga, I must say these images from the campaign are just stunning! - probably some of the best Gaga imagery I've seen out there! - Photoshop or not!

Now Gaga does have more wigs than the National Theatre , but how do we really like her? Short, Curly, Sleek , Blonde, Dark??   - My pick remains what we see here, long sleek and ultra-blonde....

Sadly re-creating this image with your own hair is VERY difficult, as being sooo blonde will mean bleach, and unless you have already ultra-sleek hair keeping it that straight would mean a constant use of straighteners, and we all know the combo of bleach and constant straightening is not a great idea!

There is of course the option of a Brazilian Blow-dry, but for proper sleek hair, nothing works better than a Japanese Permanent Straightening!

Japanese Straightening was formulated originally somewhere in the 90's, and it was then, and still is now the only REAL solution to have proper straight hair!, sadly it can't be performed on bleached hair, but if you have regular tints, or natural hair - this is the ONLY way forward for proper sleek hair.

We love the IHR system, also known as Bio-Ionic.

Naturally frizzy, dehydrated curly hair is transformed into straight silky and seriously easy to manage hair. A quick domestic blow-dry is all one needs for smooth hair post-treatment, making the treatment  also a lot healthier than the constant attack of hair straighteners on the hair!

So how does it work?

The procedure re-texturises the hair using it's own positive and negative ions, a bit like erasing it's memory and starting all-over again. But as opposed to your regular straightening does not dehydrate the hair, and is most likely to improve the quality of the hair.Positive and negative ions exist in most substances. They are small particles that gather around an object. Through restructuring the ion cluster of water, the procedure allows water molecules to penetrate into the core of each hair. As a result, the hair is being re-hydrated as well as reconditioned in each treatment, locking moisture into the hair and giving a result that is very natural looking, and full of vitality.

'Just wanted to say thanks to Edgar for the fantastic treatment & haircut - I feel (and look) like a new person! Being a new mum, I really appreciated the care and attention he put into my treatment. This has definitely been my best hair experience since moving to London 7 years ago and I will definitely be back!'                                                                                                 - Angele, West London
