Celebrity Big Brother Style.....
Now I really am not into Reality Tv in general, except for maybe the trap I fall into every year called the X Factor, and The Voice because I actually think it s somewhat more genuine.... though what the hell hapend to winners so far? (sad really).
But whether you are into Reality Tv or not... Like half of the nation and pockets around the world, you probably got somewhat stuck or heard people in conversation about Celebrity Big Brother the last few weeks.
I usually watch the opening night see who's in, maybe watch another few episodes and then loose interest... but NOT THIS YEAR!!! - been watching it religiously.
Started with realising that Ms. Michelle Visage was gonna be in the house, was I gonna miss that? - Hell No!
but as I saw the personalities going in Katie Hopkins (sooo gonna hate her!), Perez Hilton (can't believe they pulled that) Nadia (she's gonna be pretty sane), and on and on and on....
Like many of you there, next thing I knew I was loving Katie Hopkins and loathing Perez Hilton.
First night: and we could already see this man wanted to turn this into his show, and as entertaining as one may think he is ... his track record is of celebrity spats the most famous of course was the one with Lady Gaga:
After befriending the pop starlet and hanging out, he got her on his show and followed that by asking negative questions to which Lady Gaga broke down in tears. He after apologized by saying "I'm Perez Hilton so I'm allowed to treat you this way!" (basically the cameras were on!)
Which is why I do not understand how surprised the other house-mates are about his behaviour! - surely they should have known what was coming....
In my case it is nearly becoming difficult to bear it ..... it is actually tiring to watch! (but of course also ridiculously compelling!)
So for something completely different let's talk about the style of this year's house mates..... or should we say the lack of!
Not gonna bother with the once chucked out...or walked
so starting with the obvious losers which we can move from straight away.....
I would have put Keith and Kavana at a tie!.... but then this happend!
clearly getting some tips from La Visage....
Nadia is lucky with her curly hair because no matter what she does it just looks like one hot mess! - sadly though the real hot mess she really got into is befriending Perez and sounding more like a mother totally besotted by her clearly demonic child!
straight to her pal Miss Patsy Kensit....damn she was boring!.... bless... and is it just me or there was a case of slap the bleach at the front kinda thing happening with her hair?!?
But when she pulled it together (and covered that bad dye job) she looked hot in her beret....
Let's get to the people really rocking it....
Ms. Cami-Li
That girl surely scrubs up well,... and with hair like that she can be wearing anything, though if she could stop it with training bras for liliput!..... we do love you passion but not bursting out of the seams ;)
Alicia Duval was a bit of a revelation for me,... I really thought: glamour model...here we go.... and certain things were cliche: the blonde bimbo etc. But weirdly the more time passed the more endearing I found her that I was actually quite sad to see her go!
So Ms. Acid tongue herself was definitely the biggest surprise, was ready to totally despise her,...but hey loving the Hopkins!... and as much as we will never call her a style queen, she definitely gets points for her regular very much intentional bed-head look plus her onesie wins hands down on comfy wear! ... ...not to talk about slowly adopting a strutt...again thanks Ms. Visage.... whichever way we look at it, the reaction to Perez returning to the house + sparkly dress: priceless!
Next is this year's Boy Candy.... quite frankly do not need to say much... new hair new you.... and can clearly put together lounge wear looking good effortlesly... but opening night! - oh yes!
Chloe Goodman's Red Hair actually looked abit like a breathe of fresh air in the house...and once she was out we really did loose some colour in that house... Chloe we salute you!
I was super excited when I saw Katie Price going into the house! - I thought: 'this is gonna be great!', but I sadly am very disappointed with KP. Apart from the ex-talks (a few too many of them too!) its been a pretty boring Pricey.... but hey just for her fabulous hair...and so glad she is back to her brunette roots... she takes the runner-up position!
So I'm sure the beginnng of the blog gave it away.... totally un-biased of course ;) but our Queen has to be Michelle Visage.
Firstly walking in the opening night - BOOM!
we love Michelle Visage - but I must admit I would love to see more of her - especially if any of you know her as Rupaul's sidekick in Drag Raceyou kind of expect a slightly more fiery no nonsense woman that is full of comebacks! - It might have to do with the editing of the show, however its quite a low-fi Visage we are getting here. Still speaks her mind and is clearly liked in the house .....
We love her of course for what she stands....but she can do great make up, keep lounge wear interesting.... and is ready to talk dirty when needed (take notes KP and Cami)
and she even kept her heels on the exercise bike during their first tasks... fabulous!
and there you have it Michelle Visage our definite style winner!
