Met Ball 2015: When Anna MET the Rebelhearts
Being the most famous and possibly the most influential editor-in-chief in the world you must be used to people doing exactly what you say!
So it must have been serious shock horror for Anna Wintour when a bunch of A-listers decided not to listen to her at all!
For this year's Met Gala, Host Wintour had put a total ban on any selfies and/or the use of social media.... she did however realise very quickly that these A-listers may not be as easy to control as her Vogue employees.... starting with Ms. Rebelheart herself: Madonna....

The Theme to the Gala this year was China: Through the Looking Glass...
Miley Cyrus in this Alexander Wand dress boasted about going Commando for the occasion. She also opted for a Pastel Blue Jelly look on her usually Platinum hair,...not sure quite feeling the look ...and there is nothing like studs and flesh to follow a China Theme.... (really bitch?)
Katie Holmes turned up with a fresh Choppy Bob, probably the best thing she has done since....errmm...................................................mmmm.................................
But you know looking at these looks one can't help but think, do these celebrities know how to go about following a theme.... errm China? Hello?
Until you spot the mother of it..... The others could not do anything because China was swallowed up by Rihanna!
The gown by Chinese Couture designer Guo Pei literally shut down the red carpet!
Under the fur-trimmed cape was a little pink dress, but we are totally loving the Head Piece by the same designer as well as Riri's hair for the occasion, rocking the current mid length bob trend.
Of course a dress like that gets all kind of attention....and has instantly prompted some internet creativity!
On the subject of head pieces!....
Sarah Jessica Parker takes it to town...... Chinatown
Gaga just had tooo much on her Soy Sauce plate with this Balenciaga ensemble ......sweetie there was no beating Rihanna this year!... your Won Ton gone wrong....
But we are all still gagging on this.....
Girls night out? Kiss and make up? ... call it what you will but the internet could not have been more excited with this photo..... apart from Anna Wintour of course....
But back tracking a second..... Katie Perry!? I hardly recognised her.... how hot was she looking!?!?
The very clearly very much Moschino Spray paint themed look (even down to the letters M-O-S-C-H-I-N-O dangling from her finger nails) was a usual quirky look for Ms. Perry, who was accompanied by the dress' designer Jeremy Scott who also dressed Madonna for the night.
But back to Katie Perry's hair.... this style actually gives her an elegant edge which we so rarely get to see... and we most certainly welcome...
But before we start getting all excited about a wave of Pixie haircuts...it's just a wig.
I finally just want to give a nod to this look .... gorgeous like liquid gold.....
Anne Hathaway we salute you....
...and to the other Anna...... next year....please...... just give in.....
